Stephen Poje has been the lead developer of the River Hill project s/ince its /inception. Previous to this assignment, he was employed as Vice President of Engineering and Construction for Orion Power, Reliant Energy, and General Public Utilities in reverse chronological order. In those roles, Mr. Poje was responsible for all engineering to support existing generation plants as well as that required for permitting and development of new facilities. Mr. Poje first joined Sithe Energies as part of their acquisition of the non-nuclear facilities of General Public Utilities in 1999, and again at Sithe Global Power during its formation in 2004.

Mr. Poje is a graduate of the State University of New York Maritime College and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He is a registered professional engineer and holds additional licenses and certifications in the maritime and nuclear industries .
