Mr. Krapf is a registered Professional Engineer
with over thirty years of experience in power plant operations,
maintenance, design and startup. Mr. Krapf is responsible for providing
technical support and oversight in the areas of plant operations,
maintenance, and project development.
Prior to Sithe Global, Mr. Krapf spent nine years with Sithe Energies
as Operations Manager providing asset management guidance and assistance
to one of Sithe’s generating facilities in Mexico. He also was
responsible for providing technical and administrative support to
Sithe’s domestic and overseas fleet of plants in the areas of
plant operations, maintenance, due-diligence, and project development.
Mr. Krapf was the lead negotiator for a number of significant O&M
and long-term maintenance service agreements.
Before to joining Sithe Energies, Mr. Krapf spent thirteen years
as Principal and Co-Founder of Braun Engineering Associates, a
medium-size power engineering and design firm, specializing
on central plant
and
cogeneration power projects. Prior to Braun, he spent thirteen
years in plant operations with Consolidated Edison of NY at
the 1,800
MW Ravenswood Generating Plant.
