Mr. Donohue helped found Sithe Global in 2004 and serves
as Senior Vice President, Engineering and Construction. Mr. Donohue
comes with over thirty-five years of experience in industrial engineering,
construction, and commissioning. Mr. Donohue has extensive experience
in all phases of power plant engineering, procurement and construction
including the management of lump sum, direct hire construction projects.
In 2000, Mr. Donohue founded Power Professionals, Ltd, a consulting
firm specializing in managing the development and construction of
energy facilities worldwide. Power Professionals’ clients
included Sithe Energies, Marubeni, PSEG, and Enron working on engagements
in the US, Japan, Philippines, Qatar, Guinea, Tunisia and Europe.
Prior to Power Professionals, Mr. Donohue spent eight years managing
the engineering and construction for Sithe Energies. While at Sithe,
Mr. Donohue was involved in the engineering and construction of
over 5,000 MW’s. Mr. Donohue’s accomplishments included
the Independence facility (1,000 MW), Mystic facilities (1,600 MW),
ForeRiver facility (800 MW), Cardinal facility (165 MW), TEG I and
II facilities (500 MW), Rades I (480 MW), San Roque (345 MW), and
Smithfield facility (200 MW).
Mr. Donohue began his career in 1972 with Catalytic, Inc. where
he was involved with various nuclear power and industrial projects.
In 1977, Mr. Donohue joined Sauer Industries, Inc. as Vice President,
Operations.
