Jens Assheuer
Managing Director of WindMW GmbH

Jens Assheuer is a Managing Director of WindMW GmbH and responsible for the planning, building and operation of the 400MW off shore wind farm “Meerwind” in the German North Sea. Besides his experiences in the field of simulation of waves and sea condition in the North Sea, Mr. Assheuer has several years of experience in design, construction and optimization of off shore foundation structures. He accompanied the construction of the worldwide first Jacket and Tripod foundations for off shore wind farms, which were erected as prototypes on shore. Other fields of work were the calculation of projects, the off shore installation technique and associated logistics.

Mr. Assheuer received a degree as a Diplom Ingenieur (Master of Science) in Civil Engineering from the University Hannover with a specialization in hydraulic and coastal engineering.
